It's Jhunjhar Machi stands in front of Kalavantin Sulaka in a huge form and is known as"Prabalgad". The magnificent size and wide area make Prabamachi a difficult climb.
On the previous day, our journey reached a place after walking for about 2 hours from the base. I remember visiting Kalavantini on the same day and enjoying the sunset while sipping tea.
The tent, set up in a four-story space, provides shelter from the cold of winter. For Swanandi- My daughter ... Tent is as a palace that can be built anytime, anywhere and a house can be taken anywhere! The same is true for us being an outdoor family.
We were sheltered in a tent. My favorite moment on each hiking is to soothe my hungry stomach by eating dinner hurriedly and then looking at the stars near the burning fire. The moon was a little rested on this day so all the stars were able to scatter light in their full form.
Darkness was rising in the sky. The tiredness from the morning was making me the sensation of my hands and feet as they were there .. a kind of music was playing in my legs due to the long trek with Swanandi (on shoulders). We have to spend the night in the cold of winter, under the canopy of both towers. There is nothing better for us wanderers to spend such a night with a fire. I wanted to collect four or five pieces of wood, a handful of sticks, grass, a cup of kerosene, and then .. explode!
The next morning was very beautiful. The sun was rising. As soon as the door of the tent was opened, Kalavantini was peeking out of the fog on the left side, and on the right, the huge Prabalmachi was calling me.
At six o'clock in the morning, blowing from the mouth In the fog, I was delighted to see a unique gift in the fog. Oh! New morning once again! New journey! The joy in my eyes must have been picked up by the birds, my dancing mind was accompanied by their music.
My baby was fast asleep. In the tent, she must have been warmed up by the blanket, so much that she was wrapping herself up. The morning was moving forward fast. After reaching a long distance, we also had to travel back home. I had to take my baby out of that warm nest. The journey continued towards Prabalgad.
The fort, which is well climbed from the base, is very breathtaking. The entire way to the fort is through the rocks. So I had to take one step at a time very carefully. It was ascent and ascent there, just climb up. Two hours later we arrived at a valley. I brought down Swanandi.
She also enjoyed visiting this place. It took only four hours to reach the summit. In between, we enjoyed cucumber and yummy lemon syrup, which we needed badly. This is the longest and never-ending track in our twelve forts journey. Reaching the top of the fort, there is a flat field. One path leads to Kalavantini on the left, while the other path leads to the temple and some remnants of the castle on the right.
The remnants of the castle are highly artistic. The carvings on it still seem to be alive today. This scattered beauty in black stones indeed captivates the mind. Three to four of the castles are hiding in a net of caravi (a type of shrub). So not easily noticed. If you ever go, don't forget to check it out. Apart from that, Ganpati temple, water tanks, some aspects of Matheran can be easily seen. This makes me very happy. This one to one and a half hour tour makes me very sweaty. Seeing all this, once again our invasion came to the center of the top. Now we had to walk another fifteen to twenty minutes to the left, Kalavantini's side.
"Kalavantini" means the queen in the minds of us mountaineers. The beauty of the sky is worth seeing. The best focal point for its serpentine path is - Prabalmachi!
Only this image of Kalavantini's face was able to catch the eye and fill the mind. Swanandi also liked the Kalavantin. The heat was growing well. We have to start back home. After visiting the statue of Shivaji Maharaj, we returned to the same road. It is safe to say that we too were "overwhelmed" by the sight and experience of the Prabalmachi.
