When hiking, we require constant energy.
Foods that are necessary for hiking include dried fruits, Chikkis, dry fruit laddus, fruits like bananas, parathas, and energy bars.
Additionally, we must keep the body's level of water stable to prevent dehydration. When we are on the path, we must drink 3–4 little amounts of water. The addition of ORS or juice powder like Glucose is preferable; the tang would be beneficial.
Use the above items for short hikes as well.

Trek clothing for Beginners
I am sharing my experience and considering the treks in Sahyadri, giving tips for trek clothing.
Comfort Clothing. Choose basic clothing that will allow for effortless movement. Walking should be simple. Cotton or sweat-absorbent materials would be used, or you might use dry-fit (full) T-shirts.
To protect yourself from insect bites, brush scratches, and other hazards, wear full pants.Please, no jeans or skinny pants.
Jacket. You need a seasonal jacket to cover your upper body from harsh weather. Yes, you must wear a suitable jacket on trail based on the climatic consitions.
Trekking Shoes Make sure you have the right footwear for hiking. It is extremely preferable if it is ankle length. Make sure it's not slippery and that you can spend a long day in comfort.
Two layers of socks provide you greater foot compression and protect your feet from blisters.
